When it comes to the disclosure of a student‐athlete's injuries and/or playing status, the only thing that's consistent on a nationwide basis is that these issues are handled in an inconsistent manner. Some coaches and programs tend to release more information, while others take a more conservative and guarded approach to disclosure by providing relatively few or no comments or information.
