In his role as director of athletics at Westfield State University, Dick Lenfest, M.B.A., knew that in order to achieve the goal of providing the best possible experience for student‐athletes he needed a plan. So he developed a mantra that focused on addressing the three “Fs” — facilities, full‐time coaches, and fundraising.
