Joshua Keadle transferred from Midland Lutheran College to Peru State College in 2010. At that time, the 29‐year‐old moved into a residence hall next door to 19‐year‐old female student Tyler Thomas. When Keadle applied to serve as an assistant to the PSC women's basketball team in August, a background check was initiated.
