Aerin Washington started her career in law enforcement as a sworn police officer at Lafayette, before working as a sworn police officer at the University of Tennessee, and then looking at campus safety from various positions regarding safety and security. “I kind of bounced around because I wanted to see what campus safety looked like at different institutions [and from different positions],” Washington, Director of Campus Security at the University of Utah, said.
