Before Joseph Thalheimer worked for the University of Central Florida (currently the second‐largest university in the United States), he worked as the Assistant Security Supervisor for the Orange County Convention Center, which sees 1.6 million visitors annually. It's an experience Thalheimer said prepped him for his future role at UCF as the Director of Emergency Management. UCF enrolls more than 69,000 students.
