A new study ranking the most and least safe college campuses and cities with colleges and universities in the United States has found that Americans between the ages of 18 and 24 have the highest rates of all violent victimization and serious violent victimization, including sexual assault, robbery, and aggravated assault. The study, published by SafeHome, analyzed data from the U.S. Department of Justice, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the U.S. Department of Education, looking particularly at crimes that occur on college and university campuses in more than 150 cities.
