It is no secret that the country has its hands full dealing with mental health awareness, identification, and treatment — all while facing a lack of resources. Law enforcement and public safety organizations throughout the nation are faced with similar dilemmas in that they all seem to struggle with resources. Lack of personnel, training, effective use of technology, and practical experience are just a few of the challenges we all face.
