When disasters strike, regardless of the location, there is usually no shortage of people willing to lend a hand to support those in need. Sometimes the help comes in the form of monetary assistance or fundraising to support the relief, and sometimes people simply want to raise awareness about the incident. Often, however, people just want to be involved and feel like they are making a difference. If people want to help, we should let them, right? The answer is yes, with a few caveats and suggestions.
