Recruiting new officers to work in law enforcement in higher education lends its own brand of challenges. In particular, the changing landscape and needs of law enforcement departments — including updated technology skills and an increased knowledge of mental health conditions and how to respond to those in crisis — require new officers with more competitive and marketable skills than in years prior.
