Study finds unsafe driving practices run rampant near campuses

Drivers are more likely to text and drive near school campuses, according to a survey from San Francisco–based Zendrive, a traffic analytics company. The survey found that 90 percent of drivers used a cellphone while driving near a campus and that 33 percent of drivers exhibited unsafe behavior while dropping off or picking someone up from an educational institution, including elementary, high school, and higher education locations.
