I have written about mentoring before, but it is time for an update. Some five years ago, a young 20‐something female librarian asked me if I would be her mentor. She said that a woman she talked to often at the college told her to choose someone at the college whom she admired and whose attributes she wanted to emulate and ask if that person would mentor her. She chose me!
