Carol Branch wears many hats at the Otis College of Art and Design. The official Title IX coordinator, a lecturer, and the director of student services, Branch also holds a Ph.D. in mythology and folklore from the University of California, Los Angeles. The position at Otis gave her the opportunity to pursue her interest in student success and safety as the Title IX coordinator while maintaining her academic career. Faced with the task of educating incoming students about relationship violence and sexual assault on a campus recently expanded to provide housing, Branch shares her tips for engaging your students in mandatory training.
