Writing a column on the subject of campus public safety for readers of a newsletter about campus security can be a daunting task. Many of you have much experience and knowledge, so I can only give you my opinion and advice. As someone who has been in the public safety field for more than 35 years, I believe that I can talk about how the position of public safety director has changed.
