BOSTON — Pregnancy itself is not a disability. But even temporary limitations can trigger the need to provide accommodations, said Ida Dilwood, Director of the Office of Disability Services and the University Test Center at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. Dilwood, along with Amanda Allee, Director of the Office of Institutional Equity and Title IX Coordinator, also at UCCS, explained best practices for accommodating pregnant and parenting students at the Association for Higher Education And Disability annual conference.
