George M. Lee, a longtime member of the South Carolina Gamecock Club, was given the opportunity to elevate his Full Scholarship level to “Lifetime Full Scholarship” in exchange for maintaining a life insurance policy for eight years in the amount of $100,000 naming the university as the sole, irrevocable beneficiary.
