This educational paper caters to engineers wishing to penetrate the complexity of electrodynamics. Only a computer simulation can provide the fourth dimension and to justify the title we develop the linkage between the theory and the relevant executable algorithms. These can provide unique insights into the internal events and a temporal evolution can lead to a deeper understanding of radiation phenomena arising from nature's first principles. There is no escape from the relativistic overhead associated with motion and some effort is expended on supporting the uninitiated reader.
