This article offers critical comments about Federico Frischknecht's article “Informatic Philosophy of Behavioral Sciences,” (Vol. 31, pps. 162‐172). It covers disagreements with the above‐named author's categorization and hierarchy of sciences and metasciences, and raises questions in connection with (a) his comparison of descriptive and prescriptive systems; (b) his use of linguistic levels; (c) alleged differences between natural and behavioral sciences; (d) alleged differences between induction and deduction; and (e) his labeling of metatheories.
