Twelve triads were run for 100 trials each in a three‐person prisoner's dilemma game, where choices were made anonymously. Results showed that the level of cooperation was lower than that found in previous PD games. The choices made by the individual players were shown to have been made with apparently no regard for the choices of the other two players in the game.
