A system for legislative redistricting by computer simulation is described. Included is a discussion of the algorithmic logic used in the main districting program, computer implementation of the algorithm, and supporting programs useful throughout the entire redistricting process. This system was developed as a result of using computer redistricting algorithms in Iowa sub districting activities.
