Simulation of behavior requires creating changes in response levels due to changes in stimulus levels. By relating each response change to its own standard or existing level and each stimulus change to its standard or present level, a parametrically controlled function is defined and programmed. This single routine may be used to generate a wide selection of simulated responses from any given change in stimulus.
