Relationships between autonomic nervous system functioning and personality patterns have been partially established, and ANS patterns typical of patients with psychosomatic illnesses such as asthma or ulcers have been found. This study describes an ANS pattern typical of tuberculosis patients, and discusses some implications for future research.
