Qualitative and semi‐quantitative analysis of monosaccharide mixtures is explored through low‐energy (15 eV) electron impact mass spectrometry of their per‐ O ‐acetylated N ‐( p ‐nitrophenyl) derivatives with distinctive features on its mass spectra.
