Under ammonia chemical ionization conditions using the liquid chromatographic moving belt interface for sample introduction, molecular weight information has been observed for the cyanogenic glyceside, amygdalia (D‐mandelonitrile‐β‐D‐glucosido‐6‐β‐D‐glucoside). Additionally, the use of deuterated ammonia has permitted a detailed fragmentation pathway to be outlined via determinations of total acidic hydrogens.
