In order to check the fragmentation mechanisms proposed in the preceding paper of this series the mass spectral behaviour of some deuterated analogues of prostaglandin F 2α have been studied. In general, the investigation of these compounds confirmed the previous assumptions and shed light on some further details of the fragmentation pathways.
