The mass spectra of peracetylated daunorubicin, N ‐octanoyl‐, N ‐dodecanoyl‐ and N ‐( N '‐dodecanoylglycyl)daunorubicin, and perdeuteroacetylated N ‐dodecanoyldaunorubicin were analyzed. Major fragmentation pathways were suggested and ion compositions were determined by high resolution measurements.
