Oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) performances of palladium nanocubes and octahedra and their hydride forms were investigated. A volcano type relationship between ORR activity and binding strength of reaction intermediates was observed that palladium nanocubes being the most active toward the ORR in acidic media among other Pd‐based catalysts.
