Ligand‐free Hiyama cross‐coupling reaction was achieved through the use of Pd– Fe 3 O 4 heterodimeric nanocrystals (1 mol% in Pd) as recyclable catalysts. The nanocrystal catalysts exhibited good activities accommodating a variety of substrates including aryl bromides and iodides with substituents of varying electronic and steric properties. Furthermore, the nanocrystal catalyst could be conveniently recovered with the aid of an external magnet and recycled five times without the loss of catalytic activity to a considerable degree.
