Abstract A disposable plastic tetrahedron bag is described which is suitable for holding a 50 ml. culture on a shaker table. Bags can be made out of polypropylene or Teflon and they are quite simple and inexpensive. The tetrahedrons make excellent use of the shaker table space and they give a threefold increase in aeration efficiency over Erlenmeyer flasks.
