Conformational analysis from the pattern and intensities of cross‐peaks in the two‐dimensional nuclear Overhauser effect proton nmr spectra of the homopolymer, poly(dA) · poly(dT), and the analogous oligomer, d() 2 , indicate that they both exist in the B‐conformation. The conformation of the ApT/TpA junction in the oligomer is significantly different from the rest of the base pairs.
