We have studied the helix coil transition for poly‐γ‐ethyl‐ L ‐glutamate (PELG) in the mixed solvent system: trifluoroacetic acid‐trifluoroethanol by high resolution nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. At 25°, the transition occurs over a range of solvent compositions between 62–64% trifluoroacetic acid. In addition, we have assigned τ‐values to the various types of protons in PKLG.
