In order to study the effect of glucose substitution on the sedimentation velocities of the T‐even phage DNA's, T2 and T2*, and T6 and T6* bacteriophages were grown with H 3 and P 32 labeling. Zone sedimentation of the DNA's isolated from these phagea showed that the glucosylated DNA's from both T2 and T6 sediment faster than the nonglucosylated molecules. Nonglucosylated DNA from TG and T2 phages sedimented with the same velocity, suggesting that the molecules of these phages are of the same length.
