The static biofilm‐lifestyle of microbes in the human body are known to influence the human microbiome by facilitating microbial localization. During dysbiosis, pathogenic microbial‐biofilm communities can pose a serious health threat, where various methods have been used to treat and remove such biofilms. These approaches to treat microbial biofilm include physical, chemical and biological approaches presenting different advantages and disadvantages. This is reported by Zhao Liu, Can‐Jian Hong, Yongshuai Yang, Lei Dai, Chun Loong Ho in article 1900320.
