The article describes a scaled‐up inertial microfl uidic system for high‐throughput retention of the microcarrier‐cell complex from a bioreactor. The developed device can function continuously without clogging and decline in performance during cell expansion in perfusion microcarrier‐based bioreactors, surmounting shortcoming of existing microfi ltration systems.
