UGTs play crucial roles in the metabolism and detoxification of both endogenous and xenobiotic compounds. Chemical probes for UGTs can be used for exploring the relevance of UGT enzymes to human diseases, and for screening and characterization of UGT modulators. The cover paper summarized the recent progress in the development of chemical probes for human UGTs and their biomedical applications.
