Polyesters have been extensively used as plastics alternatives, yet their recycling remains a challenge. A whole‐cell catalyst has been developed for efficiently degrading various kinds of polyesters, which allows degradation of polyesters into monomers/oligomers as specialties or to recycle those degraded polyesters as carbon feedstock for the production of other chemicals/materials. This is reported by Ming‐Chieh Lee, En‐Jung Liu, Cheng‐Han Yang, Li‐Jung Hsiao, Tzong‐Ming Wu, and Si‐Yu Li in article number 1700560 .
