Three logistic transformation estimators are proposed to deal with the problem of inadmissible estimates of intra‐sire regression heritability ( h 2 ). These are compared with the estimators of earlier workers. The logistic transformation estimator with exponential correction is shown empirically to give more consistent estimates.
