On Generation of Efficient Partial Diallel Crosses Plans

Search for obtaining efficient partial diallel crosses has been addressed. The complete diallel crosses have been divided into mutually exclusive basic connected partial diallel crosses. Combining the basic partial diallel crosses, any partial diallel crosses with desired mating‐replications has been obtained, and its efficiency factor evaluated. For odd values of number of lines, the search provides an optimal design, and for even p , we think designs with high efficiency would be obtained. Several designs have been listed in terms of basic partial diallel crosses along with their efficiencies.
