The K ASTEITBAUM ‐B OWMAN test allows the determination of the significance of a mutation frequency. A simple FORTRAN program for the K ASTENBAUM ‐B OWMAN test is given. The subroutines may be incorporated easily into larger programs and allow to calculate the exact P value for the test.
