In continuation of the work by Abt (1977, 1982) and Ackermann (1980) a new construction technique is proposed to construct multivariate non‐parametric tolerance regions based on the higher‐dimensional correlations among the N variables under consideration. The scale‐independency of the method is shown and a decision function is described to decide whether a given point lies within such a tolerance region or not. The method is discussed using the data of a clinical example.
