The analysis of proportions that arise from experiments that involve several factors is considered when there is heterogeneity of the underlying proportions within each combination of the levels of the factors. An analysis is described which can be implemented using a standard statistical program. This also provides an approximate analysis when the data are assumed to be Beta‐binomially distributed.
