By considering that each attribute of objects provides a coordinate system for them (in discrete space for qualitative or for ordered discrete quantitative attributes, in continuous space for continuous attributes), a compromise set of coordinates are derived. These coordinates differ from principal coordinates. Two small numerical examples illustrate the algebra.
