Eugene Sverdlov hypothesizes in article number 1800079 a new cancer therapy paradigm: an effective cancer treatment should be targeted not at components of complex intracellular interactomes (molecular targeting), but at direct intercellular cancer and stromal cells contacts, breaking the tumor as a whole. He proposes a druggable cancer hallmark – the tumor‐stroma symbiotic crosstalk – a new field for cancer drug discovery.
