Pharmacokinetics of sulpiride enantiomers after intravenous administration of (±)‐, (+)‐, and (−)‐sulpiride was examined in humans and rats. Pharmacokinetic profiles were similar in (+)‐ and (−)‐enantiomers after intravenous administration of (±)‐sulpiride. Metabolic inversion at a chiral centre was not observed after intravenous administration of each enantiomer in rats.
