75 Jahre Schiffshebewerk in Rothensee

Vier Jahre nach der Inbetriebnahme des Schiffshebewerkes in Niederfinow hat in Deutschland in Rothensee ein weiteres solches Ingenieurbauwerk den Betrieb aufgenommen. Im Gegensatz zu ersterem hat die Anlage in Rothensee nicht diese Aufmerksamkeit erlangt. Dabei ist sie in stahlbaumäßiger Hinsicht mindestens genauso interessant. Das Bauwerk versieht noch heute anstandslos seinen Dienst. For 75 years shiplift of Rothensee In 1934 a ship lift in Niederfinow/Germany starts work. Four years later another similar facility in Rothensee near Magdeburg went into action. Both projects were quite different in their public perceptions all the time although the later is from the point of engineering view very interesting at all. The Rothensee facility is full on duty today.
