Question for The Board Doctor: “Have you ever had a board member/agency want to add to their bylaws that in order to act as president of the board, the president should not also be president of the board of the chamber of commerce, rotary club, school board, city council or any social service organization in the community? Doing so would make it clear that their total commitment in leadership is to the current board and organization.”
