Preliminary results of observations of narrow drifting bursts (NDB) are presented. The bursts appeared as narrow bright sloping lines both overlaped at the dynamic spectra of type III bursts and at the background of noise storms. The observations were made in 1982–1989 at 45–270 MHz frequency range in Troitsk and Kislovodsk at radiospectrographs with the frequency resolution of 0.2 MHz and the time one of 0.1 s. NDB were observed at 45–180 MHz range. Main parameters of NDB are near to that of drifting pairs. A small part of NDB shows sharp changes of the frequency drift sign (N, V–shape bursts).
