Using power asymptotes for the metric of the metric of the B IANCHI types I, V, VII O , VIII and IX the intensity of geodesic focused scalar test matter is calculated in the neighbourhood of the caustic singularity of these space‐time models. In all considered B IANCHI types there is a caustic diffraction field bounded by regions of extinction depending on the structure of the gravitational lense.
