uvby ß photometry of the components of Trapezium‐type multiple systems

The present paper deals with the results of photoelectric observations of 70 components of 19 Trapezium‐type multiple systems in Strömgren and Crawford six‐colour photometric systems. The trapezia were selected from the Abastumani Catalogue. Observations were carried out with the automatic and computer controlled 125‐cm Ritchy‐Cretien telescope ( F = 1590 cm) at the Abastumani Astrophysical Observatory. The results are listed in Table 1. In conformity with the Strömgren criteria the components were ascribed to B, AF and A spectral classes (Table 2). Absolute magnitudes of the components were determined and effective temperatures and gravitational forces on the stellar surface calculated.
