Using W OOD 's (1972) model, we have analysed B ONDARENKO 's (1974) two‐colour photoelectric observations – till now unsolved – of the eclipsing binary SX Aur. Our photometric solutions turn out to be in substantial agreement with those derived by C HAMBLISS and L EUNG (1979); they confirm that SX Aur is a post‐mass exchange (case A) semi‐detached system.
