The orbit of minor planet (1370) Hella, which was supposed to be almost hopelessly lost since the discovery apparition in 1935, is rediscussed. The old plates have been remeasured and reduced anew and the object was recoverd in December 1979 by means of these elements. An improved orbit based on 11 positions 1935–1979 is given.
